State police say the Pine Bush man who was critically injured in an explosion last month at a business in Wawayanda has died.
Authorities confirm the 30-year-old victim passed away last Friday—nearly a month after the June 17 incident at Boyce Excavating on Route 6.
Police say the man was welding on the flatbed of a truck when it exploded and became fully engulfed in flames.
The victim, who has not been named, was taken to the hospital in critical condition but never recovered from his injuries.
A spokesperson for Boyce Excavating previously told News 12 the company had no comment.
