An overnight shooting in the Town of Newburgh sent one person to the hospital and led to another being taken into custody.

Viewer video shows the suspect being led away in handcuffs as officers searched the Carter Avenue area early Tuesday morning - some with their firearms drawn. A drone was deployed to scan the scene from above.

Authorities say the victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Police have confirmed that there is no threat to the public.

Details surrounding the shooting were not immediately clear. Police are expected to reveal more later today.
