You'd never know from her calm demeanor that Khloe had a bit of a rough start.
Found as a stray, Khloe spent 10 months in a shelter before being rescued by Heart and Soul Dog Rescue in Lyndhurst. Right now, she's living with a foster family but she's ready for a permanent, loving home.
Volunteers from Heart and Soul say she's fully crate-trained and housebroken. She's also in the process of being trained to learn some basic commands.
Her ideal home is one in which she is the only dog. She would also prefer a home with older children.
Described as friendly and calm, Heart and Soul rescue workers say Khloe "loves everyone she meets."
